Orin Laney
Mr. Laney is a highly experienced electronics designer, writer, mentor, and public speaker. Among many projects are a megawatt pulser, a liquid hydrogen bubble sensor for testing the external tank of the space shuttle, medical ultrasound imaging systems, helmet mounted displays, microwave rate serial digital interconnects, teleprompting hardware, and video effects for movie production. Currently, he designs, writes, and consults in such areas as digital video, design for EMC qualification, intellectual property, and RF instrumentation.
As an instructor, Mr. Laney emphasizes practical implementation and depth of understanding communicated through an intuitive approach. Demonstrations, an agile presentation style, and an understated sense of humor combine to make the material alive and memorable.
